Adult
Classes and Groups for Fall 2007 Disciple Bible Study provides the mutual support of a small group. Get
acquainted and help each other from week to week, sharing experiences and
exploring the Word. Knowing more about the Bible helps us in so many ways as
we cope with modern life. Participants will mature in their faith and learn
to talk about your beliefs. Class offerings are dependent on a minimum of six
persons. Disciple
III—Remember Who You Are is a 32-week study of the
prophets and the letters of Paul. Kay Lathrop will facilitate. The Companions in Christ participant
is drawn into daily time with God through reading and reflection. Well-known
writers for Upper Room Ministries introduce weekly themes with
participants reflecting on the theme more deeply through daily devotions.
These exercises are scripture based and develop spiritual disciplines. The
group will use the Exploring the Way, An Introduction to the Spiritual
Journey, which explores the basic concepts of the Christian spiritual
life. This is a 6-week study beginning with an introductory meeting in
October. Toni Gray will facilitate this study, meeting on Wednesday mornings. The Thursday Morning Great Course will
